New Dresser

Pat, Robert, and I moved the dresser from the basement to the top floor. We did some sweet work.

Bernie's Dad, replaced the old fan with a new one that doesn't hang as low so I don't have to worry about those random haircuts, hy-yaaa!!

Bernie is doing some final touch up using a handy dandy Q-Tip. She also had a mad case of ear wax.

Crib Time

After two hours, I finally had the crib assembled and ready for action. But now we need to get a mattress.

Bernie is multitasking, talking on the phone and removing the tape. The walls look great.

It's Official: Painting the trim, a pain in the butt

It's been day Three of painting the trim and it's a pain in the butt. When Joann and I were painting the walls, we (actually I) got a little sloppy and slopped some paint on the chair rail. So after the second coat of paint, you can still see blue coming through. It's getting a little annoying. I figure if I do a couple of spot work, I can get most of the blue to go away.

As the painting comes to an almost close. What better than spending about two hours putting tape all over the trim and the windows. My what a great time that was.

To protect the carpet, I covered it with a layer of plastic.

Everything in the middle.

We are now entering the next phase of Project Nursery. I placed everything in the middle.

This is the valance we selected for the baby room. The green matches well with the green for the lower half of the walls.
